$2,575,000 settlement obtained for a Polish construction worker injured on a job site.
The Perecman Firm secured a $2,575,000 settlement for a construction worker who was seriously injured when a heavy stone being installed on a building facade fell and crushed his leg during construction operations.
The lawsuit alleged violations of New York Labor Law §§240(1) and 241(6), including the failure to properly secure heavy materials being lifted and installed at an elevated worksite. The case involved unsafe handling of large construction materials and inadequate safety protections during facade installation work.
The case resolved for $2.575 million following litigation led by Mariusz Sniarowski. The recovery provided substantial compensation for the worker’s medical treatment and the long-term impact of his injuries.
