Grace was sued by the woman’s family in 2006 on the basis that the family believed Grace’s insinuations led to emotional distress and trauma. The case was settled and the family was awarded $200,000.
A popular Latin music superstar, Jenni Rivera, died after the plane she was on crashed and killed all seven people on board. Rivera’s husband, former MLB player Esteban Loaiza, filed a wrongful lawsuit in 2014 seeking damages from the aircraft owner.
