Around 3:45 a.m., the out of control car struck the Chinese restaurant and immediately burst into flames causing the building to catch fire as well, according to onlooker Steve Figueroa.

The flames spread to the upper floors of the apartment building causing a lot of damage and it took firefighters a little over two hours to put out the fire.
