It’s part of the definition of accidents that they just come out of nowhere. They can’t really be planned for or prepared against. Even the best driver can face car damage or injuries due to someone else’s recklessness or just a freak occurrence. In the cases where the cause is another person, however, legal compensation is there to make sure all the bills are paid, so the victim does not have to suffer financial harm, as well.
A bus rider was seriously injured when a tire came through the windshield of a bus in northern New Jersey. The incident happened in Upper Saddle River during the Monday morning commute.
The tire came free from a car in the opposite lanes, and flew throw the windshield of a bus going in the other direction, creating a large hole in the glass right in front of the bus driver.
The bus was on the way to New York City. Reports say one person was taken to the hospital by helicopter, while others were taken by ground transport. The extent of their injuries has yet to be reported.
