"One of the best decisions I had ever made"

The driver of the black-and-white luxury sports car, Hsinho Chen, was speeding down Interstate 30 on June 13. He was participating in the San Francisco-to-Chicago GoldRush Rally, an event with a $14,000 entry price.
A large truck doing the speed limit pulled in front of Chen. He ran off the road after swerving to avoid a head-on collision, The New York Daily News reported.
The car crashed through a chain-link fence and into a storage facility in Mt. Vernon, Texas. Chen and his passenger emerged unscathed.
People who speed can kill and seriously injure others. If the speeding driver causes injury to another driver, this is often considered negligence and the injured person is allowed to make a claim under the law. Speeding is the cause of many accidents, and subsequently, injuries.
According to the New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT), speeding contributed to 81 fatal traffic crashes in 2012, making it the greatest single factor in traffic deaths. Speeding was cited as a factor in approximately 30 percent of the city’s traffic deaths last year.
A New York auto accident lawyer can help investigate vehicle wreck in New York. To win a case, there must be proof that the other driver was acting recklessly and as a result of their carelessness, the accident occurred. Once that has been proven, the injured victim of the accident must demonstrate that the injuries suffered were as a result of that negligence. An experienced auto accident lawyer can help a traffic-injury victim and/or the victim’s family get the compensation – and justice – they deserve.
