Injury may also be caused by inadequate safety protection.

Someone at the work site may have removed guards or tampered with a safety switch. If an injury was caused by poorly maintained machinery, the employer may be responsible. In any of these situations, the third party could have to compensate the injured victim for medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and more.
