Two Workers Hurt after Chinatown Scaffolding Accident, Attorneys React

Scaffolding accident lawyers give advice after construction workers fall from a scaffold outside a Chinatown restaurant

New York, NY - October 31, 2008 - Scaffolding accident attorneys from the Perecman firm have commented on recent construction accidents, particularly one in Chinatown neighborhood. Two constructions workers have been injured after falling 20 feet off scaffolding. There has been an increase in construction accidents recently from cranes collapsing and scaffolding not holding up.

Scaffolding accidents are nothing new and has become another issue on construction sites especially in New York. Injuries can happen to bystanders just as easily as construction workers due to debris falling including tools. The Perecman Law firm also wants to make sure people are aware of their surroundings and to be cautious of what is happening above them.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) set strict regulations concerning the proper assembly and usage of scaffolds. The result is a scaffold that does not comply with the OSHA standards.

Our lawyers are experienced and successful in scaffolding injuries and other construction accident injuries. If you have been injured in a scaffolding accident, our lawyers will evaluate your case for free.
