Three Different Auto Accidents Kill Three In One Day

NEW YORK, NEW YORK - January 4, 2010 - Yesterday was a sad day for many families and friends. Three women were killed and a man was critically injured in a spate of cyclist and auto accidents that happened across New York City, to the dismay of personal injury attorneys.

On Staten Island, a car hit a couple out for a jog. The 23 year-old man was in critical condition. His companion suffered a broken ankle and bruises.

On the Lower East Side of Manhattan, a bicyclist died after being hit by a school bus. She hit a pothole while riding her bike and fell into the path of the bus, according to authorities.

Two other women died in crashes in Brooklyn. A forklift ran one woman down. In the other accident, a woman was killed after she walked into an oil truck. Apparently the driver didn't know he'd hit her until pedestrians waved him down. These types of incidents are all too common to New York personal injury attorneys.
