A New York bus accident leaves 18 people with minor physical injuries, but New York personal injury lawyer David Perecman counts more victims than the ones reported.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK-October 10, 2009 - The story of a bus that swerved to avoid a car that stopped suddenly has captured the attention of New York personal injury lawyers. The bus didn't hit the unmoving car, but instead, plowed into cars parked along the side of the road to avoid it. The New York bus then moved into the intersection where it caused more accidents and injuries.
One witness, whose car was one of the six slammed into by the bus, reported hearing no sounds of horns or brakes.
A seven-year old needed to be rescued from the back seat of a sedan that burst into flames.
According to The New York Times , 18 people sustained minor injuries in the crash and an investigation is underway. An even greater number of people were left shocked and scared.
'While the physical injuries resulting from this bus accident reported are minor, what will be harder for the people of New York," personal injury lawyer David Perecman said, "is for them to regain trust in just being able to walk or drive safely down the street."
